For iOS, Gane works on the iPhone 6 and all newer models. For Android, Gane works on most phones running 4.4 KitKat+ with NFC. Device models that don’t support Android tap & pay technology include: Elephone P9000, Evo 4G LTE, Nexus 7 (2012), Samsung Galaxy Note III, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Light.
When you invite friends through the invite button in the Gane app, those you invited will receive an offer and are prompted to download Gane. Once they have collected the offer and have tapped & paid you will also receive a Gane reward. This money is in the form of a store credit called "Gane Rewards: Spend Anywhere" and works in any stores that accept Apple Pay or Android tap & pay technology.
Your available Gane balance is shown in the top, middle of the home screen in the Gane app in the blue header. Your store credit and available offers are listed below your available Gane balance. If your current balance is $0, you should see a message in that same area prompting you how to use Gane. To add money to your Gane balance, link a credit or debit card to your account and load the preferred amount.
Your available Gane balance is the total amount of money you currently have in the Gane app. You can use this money to tap & pay, send this money to friends, or withdraw it to a linked debit card.
Refer to your activity list in the Gane app to see recent transactions including purchases, money transfers, collected offers, etc.
Gane does not currently provide a full card number associated with your digital Gane card. For more information refer to our Terms of Service.
Gane is intended to be used in physical stores that accept Apple Pay / Android tap and pay technology. Since Gane is integrated with Apple Pay, there are some online merchants that accept that form of payment; however, there are many online unsupported merchants that you will get declined at when trying to use Gane.
Make sure Gane has been added to your Apple Pay Wallet and that it is set as your preferred method for payment. During checkout, tap your phone to the contactless symbol at the register and you'll be prompted by your phone to either confirm the payment with your Fingerprint or Passcode for your security. If the register prompts you to select a payment option select "credit" and the transaction will be complete; there is no pin.

Offers are not all the same in the aspect of how they can be collected and shared. Some offers can be collected and shared without a limit, while other offers are not sharable and cannot be collected from the Discover feed.
Offers and promotions are frequently being created, changed and updated - there are multiple factors that play into their amounts; each campaign is different.
Available offers are applied first, only one offer is applied per transaction. If more than one offer is applicable, the offer closest to expiration will be used. After an offer is applied, we will apply any available store credit. Any remaining balance owed will be pulled from your available Gane account balance. To reiterate, 1. offer is applied, 2. store credit is applied, and 3. available Gane balance is applied.
Yes, offers expire. The expiration time is displayed on each collected offer.

Yes, if you do not have enough money in your Gane account to cover the entire transfer then we will automatically pull the total amount of the transfer from your linked funding source. For instance, if you have $5 in your Gane account and you try to send $12 to someone, we will automatically send the $12 from your linked funding source since you didn't have enough in your Gane account to cover the transfer.
If you run out of money, you can add funds at any time by linking a funding source such as a debit or credit card. When loading money from a debit card there is no fee. When loading money from a credit card there is a 3% service fee.
You can load a maximum of $200 into your Gane account per day. The maximum amount of money per load is $100.
To withdraw money from your Gane account you must complete your Identity Verification and link a debit card to your account.
Once you withdraw money from your Gane account onto your debit card, the transfer is subject to your bank's standard regulations; it can take anywhere from 2-5 business days to actually deposit to your bank account.
